pricing for services is assessed fluidly, per time and/or volume, based on the average rates provided*

intake

In the course of client intake, a one-on-one consultation will be conducted in order to determine fit, define project parameters, and set expectations. Prior to or following the initial consultation, you are encouraged to transmit (or grant us access to) any relevant preexisting content and/or source material for review.

• 29 / half-hour – initial consultation

• 29 / hour – review of content/material**

project scope fidelity

After completion of a first draft, continual transmission of additional source material for inclusion will result in a light editing charge҂ per page of the eventual final draft.

Instances of extended communication between the client and bleyworld involving actionable changes to the project (beyond short, sporadic exchanges e.g. text messages) are considered billable for time:

• 19 / half-hour – draft/note sessions

services

Literature design services are assessed at the following average per-paragraph*** rates:

• 39 /⌠ – new content generation (primarily or entirely from scratch)

• 34 /⌠ – hybrid (highly involved redesign/revision of content/material)

• 29 /⌠ – basic redesign/revision of content/material

҂Proofreading and editing services are assessed at the following average per-page rates:

• 25 / pg – proofreading, light editing****

• 20 / pg – proofreading*****

Audiovisual services are assessed at the following average hourly rates:

• 44 / hour – new content generation (e.g., music, soundscape, video)

• 35 / hour – basic audio and video editing

• 26 / hour – new voiceover generation

Where hourly billing is applicable, we use the Time Squared app to track work time precisely, per client.

invoicing

In lieu of a retaining fee, invoicing will typically mirror the work schedule indicated in your contract, limited to a maximum one (1) invoice per week. Your first invoice will itemize the initial consultation, review of preexisting content/source material if applicable, and satisfaction of the first project milestone.

Consultation and review are only billed separately when they do not result in project commencement.

Invoices indicate a 72-hour payment grace period from date of transmission. Overdue payments may incur a .01% per day penalty for nonprofit organizations, or .06% per day for all others.

dissolution and severance

In the event you are not satisfied with our deliverables after three draft/note sessions, your contract can be dissolved, and you will be billed for:

• two of your three draft sessions

  and

• 70% of the contractural value of work yet unbilled.

In cases of severance, once the above terms are satisfied, you are entitled to retain and make use of all content/materials generated by bleyworld during the project.
